Obituary for Kevin Fruechte

Kevin M. Fruechte met Jesus on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in the comfort of his home at the age of 66 years. Kevin was born in La Crosse, WI on July 4, 1958, to Mervin and Lois Fruechte. He attended La Crosse Central High School, followed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in December of 1981. He met his wife, Cynthia, at a Bible study in Fairmont, MN, and they married on February 6, 1988. In the following years they were blessed with three children, Leah, Tara, and Mark (wife Shelby, daughter Isla). Kevin was a lifelong learner, valuing study of the Bible as well as physics and mathematics. Kevin documented his advanced academic research in his blog at www.fruechtetheory.com. His wife and children are pleased to continue his legacy of knowledge by maintaining this site. Kevin’s family will hold a private memorial together. He was taken from us too soon and will be deeply missed.
