Obituary for Patricia A. "Pat" Hubing

Patricia Ann Hubing,80, of La Crosse, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Riverside Transitional Care. She we born July 15, 1940, in La Crosse to Helen (Hooverson) Thorud and Woodrow Tollerud. Pat married Delano Hubing of Neilsville, Wis., on May 5, 1962.They moved to Mankato, Minn., for a short time before settling in La Crosse. There they were blessed with three daughters. Pat spent the majority of her life providing in-home daycare. She was also employed as a secretary at G. Heilman Brewing for a number of years until she eventually retired. In their younger years she and Del enjoyed dancing and getting together with the neighbors. Pat also enjoyed going to their cabin in Hatfield and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Pat is survived by her husband, Delano; two daughters, Debra (Kelly) Kuhse of Stoddard and Diane Welker of La Crosse; brother, John (Dawn) Thorud of La Crosse; grandsons, Jacob Kuhse of La Crosse, Jeffrey (Kortney) Kuhse of Westby, and Joshua Kuhse of La Crosse; granddaughters, Brittany (Robert) Cannon of La Crosse and Jessica Welker of La Crosse; and great-grandson, Jordy Kuhse of Westby. She was preceded in death by her parents and her very special daughter, Amy in December 2016. The family will be having a small private service.
