Condolences for Violet Beneke

You all have been in my thoughts and prayers. I was so incredibly sad to hear that Violet passed. Most of my memories of her are from our many cousin hangouts at the farm. Truth be told, Violet used to intimidate me...but maybe most strong women did back then. It was clear she loved you all fiercely. I can’t imagine the hole her absence has left. Sending you all big hugs and so much love during this difficult time.

I was so sad to hear of Violets passing. I have enjoyed thinking about her and all of the weddings, baby showers and family get togethers over the years. She brought so much laughter to each events and she will be missed! You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve her loss.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of such a dear woman. I got to know her when I did some sewing for her.

We would like to extend our sympathy to the whole Beneke family. We have a lot of fond memories of Violet, but the one I remember best was when Tom almost cut his finger off and had surgery. He wasn't supposed to move his hand or be outside working. Jake and I were putting in the electric fence at Violet's and Tom was along and wanted to help, so he was carrying a pail of fencing clips (which he wasn't supposed to do). Violet was right out there to help. She took the pail away from him, I can still see those two walking along visiting like they were at a church social! She would've been 86yrs old, couldn't walk very well, but she was out there helping. I hope I'm still doing that when I'm her age. She was a colorful neighbor who will be missed.

Violet was a lovely lady and we were honored to have met her. Janet, fond, fond memories of sitting on the porch at the farm talking about heirloom tomatoes! Condolences and deepest sympathy.
