Obituary for Leah C. Hundt

Leah C. Hundt, 28, of West Salem, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at her home. She was born January 19, 1993, in La Crosse, to Richard and Becky (Sandman) Hundt. “One day you will wake up and all of the sudden the weight of the last few weeks, months or even years will be lifted off your shoulders. You can’t control when that day comes, all you can do is stay strong and trust that it is coming. And then it happens…One day you wake up and you’re in this place. Where everything feels right. Your heart is calm. Your soul is lit. Your thoughts are positive. Your vision is clear. You’re at peace, at peace with where you’ve been, at peace with what you’ve been through and at peace with where you’re headed. Don’t get discouraged. God is opening doors for you. Your time is coming!” ~Written by Leah. Survivors include her parents, Richard and Becky Hundt; brother, Brandon (Jessica) Hundt; nephew, Blake Hundt; niece, Sawyer Hundt; grandmother, Muriel Sandman; two special aunts, Auntie Karen Wagner and Auntie Barbara (Rod) Mellor; special uncle, Rod (Lori) Sandman; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
