Condolences for Elvern J. Nyseth

Dear Miriam. Your mother and my mother were gal friends in high school. When I was in La Crosse early October, she was very sad to read your Mother had passed. Mom added that she felt really bad and sad about not keeping in touch with Elvern as she has many special memories of their friendship in high school. I took my mom to visit the old room school house outside of Holmen...Don't know if your Mom went there also. The family living in it now let us in for a chat. Overwhelmed with memories of that school house also. I am her favorite daughter, Nancy, Victoria,TX. Mentally she is sorta OK, her body is tired. Just found your name and funeral name today in "the pile". Peace to Us All and Merry Christmas. If you want to contact me...enge4@outlook.com.

Miriam, Sending sincere sympathy for the loss of your mother. Your mom and mine were such good friends over the years. I remember them doing a lot of things together at the church as well - especially making lefse and sewing quilts. Sending prayers to you and yours.

Miraim, my sincerest sympathies to you. I can remember being so happy to come to your house so I could play with Louie. Not being able to have anything but goldfish for pets due to my allergies. But now I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a chinchilla. I was very proud to have your parents as my God parents all my life. I remember very well as if it were only yesterday the words your mother spoke to me 30 years ago when my Father passed on. I loved your parents do very much I will miss your Mom very much.

Dear Miriam, Your mom cracked me up with her direct commentary. I always wanted to hear what she was going to say next. She was dead on every time! Her edginess was tempered by her sincere affection for so many loved ones and her kind hospitality. Know that I'm thinking of you during this sad time. She'll be forever in your heart...and mine. With love to you and yours.

Miriam, While searching for a family obituary I came across your moms. Heaven just received another Angel. I didn't realize at such a young age what a privilege it was to have had her for a teacher as a youngster. She was one of the best for sure. What a wonderful way to honor her memory with St. Jude's memorial. This charity was my Grandmother & Mothers favorite. I am so very sorry for your loss Miriam. My heart goes out to you. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Miriam and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was an angel here on earth. She was a favorite Sunday School teacher and fellow choir member for the years I was in it as well as Ladies Aid, lutefisk suppers and other church events. Your parents were such special, kind people. I will certainly grieve knowing they are no longer on this earth, but celebrate they are now living with our good Lord. My condolences, Donna
