“Uncle Ron”. I have fond memories of Ron Levendoski. As his nephew, my family would spend time in Brownsville, MN each year. Every summer, Ron would host us on the “7L Campground” which was an absolute joy for a “city kid” from the suburbs of Cincinnati, OH. We’d hike the trails, mess around with the tractor, swim in the ponds and visit with the Llama’s – especially one named “Candy Man”. He was a fine curator of the land. Ron’s humility often belied his distinguished career of service. I regard him as a pillar of the community and his numerous contributions are a matter of record. He will be missed greatly. I am comforted by imagining his arrival at the pearly gates of heaven ---- Well done, good and faithful servant.
