Condolences for Peter Congdon

We just heard about Pete's passing......he was our financial advisor and although we only spoke with him a few times, we both felt so comfortable with him. He seemed like an all-around great guy. We send our prayers and condolences. May he rest in peace.

I met Pete about tens years ago when we both worked at State Bank Financial. He was very happy and a very funny guy. He helped me with learning the Financial world. He was the best of the best! Very sad when learning of his dead. He sure made a mark in the world in only 57 short years. He will be so sadly missed. All our Love and Prays now go out to Marie and kids and grand kids. Rest in Peace my Friend, Pat Ebner

Heartfelt condolences to Peter's family...wife Marie, Kaitlin and Nicholas, their spouses and children; Doug, Michelle and her family, all other extended family members. And condolences to what appear to be a huge number of friends and admirers of a man with a shortened but well lived life. We only 'knew Pete' through father Doug, but every story reflects the words in Peter's obituary...kind, hard working, loving, fully engaged with life and those around him.

Peter was a great guy and always upbeat and ready to help when we met. His community involvement was genuine and I always think of him when I read and hear about the International Owl Center in Houston. Our condolences to his wife and family.

My deepest sympathies to you all. Peter’s jokes posted on Facebook brightened many of my days & his inspirational life of service to others was beyond commendable. May the fond memories you shared sustain you through this difficult time.

We are very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I met him through Rotary (which he belonged to for all the right reasons) after being introduced by a mutual friend. For the past ten years he carefully counseled us with our investments where his first and last focus was always "what's best for you." He was a gentle and kind man who put others interests ahead of his own. As he had told us about his medical issues we had the chance to watch how he continued to do his work and community service while at the same time fight his illness with so much grace and dignity. For all these things and many others we appreciate that we had the chance to know Peter and he will be sadly missed by our family. Gary, Karmin & Sean Van Domelen
