I am so sorry to hear of Stella's passing, and I hope it was gentle and peaceful. Every day I have my coffee and think of her and her quilting and sewing as I use her gift to me by the chair I take my coffee in. She was a sweetheart: caring, loved her family, hard working, and funny in a small town Iowa spunky way! She and Elmer were some of my first patients when I came to La Crosse in 1989 and I was honored to know him too. She was always so perfectly groomed and had her list of things to go over. I will always cherish the beautiful memories of my amazing "Aunt" Stella. She was always so kind and loving with everyone she met. What an amazing mentor and role model for all of us. I will miss her very much and am so glad my children were able to meet my special aunt. ❤
