Peggy and family, sorry for your loss of Vic. I have many fond memories of Vic. Vic always had a story to tell regarding customers and fishing. I know customers thought highly of Vic. Vic was a honest and caring man and I always enjoyed talking to him. Arnie Peterson

I am the youngest son of Olaf Garness Jr. My wife and I had the privilege of being a guest at Vic and Peggy's back in 1992 while we were traveling. I stayed up with Vic looking at and reading the big red Garness history book. I think by the time we were done it was 1:00 in the morning. I remember his electric riding mower, his 8 track collection. Plus having pancakes out on the deck looking at the bluffs. Even though I only met my Uncle Vic a couple of time in my life he was always kind and caring. Rest in peace Uncle Vic.
