Let us help get you started

Condolences for

Penny was a wonderful person and I was very very lucky to have her as my sister. We had a lot of good times and some bad times together, but we always said I love you when we were on the phone or out together at night. Penny will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. I also want to take the time to thank everyone who remembered her and thank you for being a part of her life. I will miss my little sister. Love your big sister Susie

We just heard about your Mom and wanted to send our sympathy to you. We can't imagine how hard it is and how much you miss her, but know that she is looking down with love on you. Moms have a special place in their heart for their boys as I know personally. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Take care, John, Jean, Justin & JACOB

Thank you to everyone who wrote such wonderful things about my mother. She meant the world to Me, my brother, Dave, and my Dad. Her smile, laugh, and presence in the room are something that I will greatly miss for the rest of my life. Oh and her apple pie slices too.

I just wanted to let the family know that I was thinking of them during these hard times. I am so sorry to hear about Penny. My mom was Bev (Swan) Adams and she talked often of the Nichols Family (cousins).

I worked with Penny a few years at Dairyland Power and she was always ready to dive into any project , no matter how difficult. She helped organize a lot of documents for me and keep records up to date while always staying with a project until completed, never heard her complain about the challenge or what kind of mess she was being asked to help with. Penny was a friend and will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.

You are leaving us so early, but you will be surrounded with love in heaven as you were here with your family. With sincere sypathy your cousin, Barb and Jim Whatton

It was such a shock to hear of Penny's death at the funeral of my brother-in-law, Dick Schroeder (who happened to be a relative of Penny's). I have wonderful memories of Penny from the times we shared at Logan, as classmates, and at Trinity Lutheran at various youth events. My prayers are with you as you grieve - as you celebrate her life - and as you claim the hope of the resurrection. God's blessings to you all.

Dear Dave and Family- My heart goes out to you during this unexpected loss. Just know that there are so many people who share your sorrow. Perhaps you will feel a little power boost someday. That is me thinking of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Penny's passing. My best memories of all of us my sister Mary (Wittenberg), Sue, Mary, and Penny running around at the family reunion in the Dells. It seemed like we managed to talk the night away - as well as many other sorts of trouble (remaining nameless) I believe, as I do with my parents, that the person who passes is with those they love who have gone on before. So you know my parents are with her and her grandparents. I also believe that no one really is gone while you remember the fun times, great stories, and perfect memories and share them to always keep her alive in thought. - Cheryl (Swan) and Dan Fincher

Matt, Ben, Steve and Family: We are so sorry for your loss. We will miss Penny. We had a lot of great times together as neighbors and good friends. Good times we will never forget. Penny brought life and a smile wherever she went. I wish we could be there with you but our hearts are. God bless you all. Al and Carrie

My deepest sympathies on the loss of a wonderful woman. I have many fond memories of Penny running through my mind these past few days. My sister, Sarah and cousin, Mel, would spend a weekend with Steve, Penny, Ben and Matt. It was one of our highlights. We would call her "Mommy Dearest" while grocery shopping. She always had a big smile and a warm hug for us. She always brought her slippers to Christmas Eve as her feet were cold. I remember how she loved her cats. I will truly miss her and her caring spirit. It does not surprise me that she gave the gift of her organs to others. Her memory will always live on in your hearts. She has found eternal happiness in heaven.

We extend our sincere sympathy in your loss. Our daughter, Heidi, used to babysit for Ben and Matt when they were very young. May God bless Penny's memory.

Thoughts and prayers out to everyone who knew and loved Penny. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I have some great memories of Aunt Penny and have been going over them in my head for the past several days. My cousins Jane and Sarah and I used stay with Uncle Steve and Aunt Penny on several occasions as sort of a little get away. It was something we looked forward to all year. Aunt Pen treated us and talked to us like adults not little kids. I will never forget the time we went to the grocery store with her and she forgot her checkbook so we had to drive back home for it while the store set our cart aside. As kids we thought it hilarious and laughed all the way home and back. I remember when we got older and boys crept into the picture and we even snuck them in when Uncle Steve and Aunt Pen were out. They did however welcome the boys in when they were home as well. I also had the chance to live with Aunt Pen and Uncle Steve a few summers and take care of Matt and Ben. Pen treated me like one of her own and the boys are very special to me to this day. Other things I love about Aunt Pen are her apple Pie squares, her ability to pull you out on a dance floor when you really don't feel like dancing, her intoxicating laugh, her love for her children and her love of life. You will never be forgotten Aunt Pen and I will treasure these memories forever..

My deepest condolences to Matt, Ben, Dave and all of the family. Penny was such a wonderful lady and I always enjoyed seeing her. When we were growing up, I would always make fun of Penny and call her Penny, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters when I would see her at her house while visting with Matt and Ben and when she met Dave, I was able to see her at the family get togethers that my father and step mother would throw. It was such a great thing having her in the family and she will truly be missed. I am so sorry I will not be able to be there to support you guys during this difficult time unfortunately I will be working, but I will be there in spirit. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I understand what it is like to lose someone close to you and you guys were there for me when I lost my Timmy and I feel so sad that I cannot be with you during this time. Please know my family will be sending their love and will be praying for you all to regain your strength after such a great loss. All My Love, Tracy Ratigan Salas
